Trinity Church, Theatre Workshop is registered as an historic landmark. Built in 1875, it is the oldest example of Gothic architecture is Western Kentucky. As well known as one of the most Haunted spots in the Tri State! Today it is a Theatre where they hold plays, Theatre groups, and other special events! Come and check out a show here and you'll might see more than just the play!!!
One reason why its reported one of the most Haunted spots in the tri-state is, a young priest lived next door with his daughter. His daughter was dating a young man who her father disapproved of. Late one night the daughter came to her father with dreadful news. She told her father she was pregnant. He was so disappointed in her, he told her he never wanted to see her again and sent her away. So the story goes that night she went insane because of the horrible word her father said! She ran up to the bell tower and hung herself. Her father was so sad he to killed himself in the basement. With what nobody knows. To this day lights are said to go on and off constantly, the bell rings when there isn't a bell anymore, coldness out of nowhere surrounds you, and even recently a women claimed to have seen the young girl standing in a window holding her neck!!! There so many more stories to tell including a haunted chair! But, you'll have to take the tour to hear the rest! Background:
In 1888 this was once the Temple Theatre. A fire broke out a few years after being open. The fire was a mystery. Mr. Wolfe will fill you in with the rest of the story about this fire! Then it becomes Andersons was one of the biggest 19th century building on Main Street. It opened in 1908 and remained the Andersons until the mid 1980's. Then it was the Museum in 1990's and this is where we get our ghost experience! It is known to be haunted by a child ghost who loves the shadow room! The ghost of Mrs. Anderson is claimed to haunt the old dept store.There is a picture of her where it's claimed that no Dog likes this picture! No one likes to be here at night because it has a feeling the past comes to life! Some even claim that past workers of the old dept store still can be heard on the top floor! This and many more stories about this place awaits you!

One of our features is a tour inside Old Trinity Church which houses the Theatre Workshop of Owensboro. Built in 1875, the facility is considered one of the most haunted buildings in the tri-state.

Tours are available from now until mid-November (tours are closed on June 20th and 21st). Tours start at The Creme Coffee House 107 East second st. Most time tours start time is 8:00 pm, but please call 270-313-5596 to make sure. Reservations and credit card payment can be made on our web page or by calling 270-313-5596. Tour costs are $15 for adults and $7 for children under the age of 12. Cash is not accepted at the tour site. This tour has been featured on the Documentry KET
