About Us

Welcome to Shuck’s Family Fun Farm, where getting lost has never been more fun! Located in Cass County, we are a small family farm offering activities and adventure for the whole family, and a premier destination for corn maze fun in the Kansas City area.
Our corn maze is a 14-acre cornfield that will challenge you to find your way out. There are actually 2 mazes located within the one maze, with different levels of difficulties. If the big maze is not quite for you, try our smaller 2-acre maze we call LiL Shuck’s maze. It will be much easier, especially for small children.
We also offer many other activities for the whole family such as:
Barrel Train ride - Kids and grown ups love taking rides in our barrel train.
Corn Cannon - Shoot ears of corn up to 200 feet.
Corn Crib- Children love to play in our corn crib. It’s like a large sand box, only it’s filled with corn.
Hay Mountains - Climb to the top of hay mountain and be king of the world.
Zipline - Zip down our 150 foot long zipline (110 lb. weight limit).
Hay rides - Tractor-pulled hay rides.
Steer Roping - Try your skills at roping our steer heads.
Pumpkins - We offer a variety of pumpkins from large to small, from traditional pumpkins to exotic strange-looking ones.
Hay Jump - Jump in our big pile of hay.
Hop a Long Rodeo
2 new self-serve zip lines
Outdoor Laser Tag
The main maze occupies 12 acres of the property. Living
cornstalks, which at a mature height reach 10 to 12 feet, create
walls along three separate winding pathways that depict an
American flag with an eagle, and the words “In God We Trust”. This pattern was cut in late June using a
small tractor and Global Positioning System. An average journey will take as little as 30 minutes to complete
one maze trail, or as long as 60-90 minutes for all three pathways. A smaller labyrinth will be created on
three acres for children, called Lil’ Shucks Mini Maze.
In addition to the corn mazes, Shuck’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch will have a wide variety of activities
that is included in one general admission price: Hay Mountain, a youth fun zone with Hay Jump, hay rides,
zip lines, corn crib, steer roping challenge, and pumpkin throwing. Grounds access is free all season to
encourage families and groups to have picnics, browse the pumpkin patch and take autumn photographs

There were over 600 mazes in North America last year, typically created with corn or hay bales, and 40
mazes in Missouri (according to www.pumpkinpatchesandmore.org). The MAiZE will cut eight mazes across
the state in 2009, and five in Kansas. Since they are living agritourism venues, corn mazes and pumpkin
patches are seasonal and close when the plants turn brown, or crops are harvested. Shuck’s Family Fun
Farm - Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch - will close Saturday, October 31.
