The Youth Garden Project presents the sixth annual Moab Pumpkin
Chuckin' Festival on Saturday October 29th, from 10am-4pm. Watch the
pumpkins sail through the beautiful autumn sky as trebuchets, catapults,
air cannons and slingshots compete to see who can launch a pumpkin the
furthest. This old-time fair also includes live bluegrass music, pumpkin
pie eating and pumpkin seed spitting contests for kids and adults, lots of
games and activities for children, a straw-bale maze, a petting zoo, wiener
dogs racing in costumes, magic shows, story telling and other silliness
that will have your whole family laughing. The event is a fundraiser for
the Youth Garden Project, and all proceeds support youth programming.
Adult admission $10, Youth ages 4-15 $5, Seniors $8, Ages 3 and under
Free. The event is held 8 miles south of

Flying pumpkins launched by trebuchets, catapults, air cannons and slingshots sailing towards the LaSal Mountains through the crisp autumn sky! Live bluegrass music by the Mile Markers, pumpkin pie-eating and seed spitting contests for kids and adults, wiener dogs racing in costume, hay-bale mazes, crafts and games for kids, a petting zoo, and arts and crafts vendors make the Moab Pumpkin Chuckin' Festival fun for all ages! 8 miles south of Moab, Utah.
The event brings over 2000 people together to raise money for the Youth Garden Project, a Moab non-profit that cultivates healthy children, families and community through educational programs and the profound act of connecting people with food from seed to table. Pumpkins used for the event are purchased from the Dunhams and Veteres in Green River, Utah, and pumpkin shards are enjoyed post-event by a local herd of buffalo.

Take Hwy 191 eight miles south of Moab. Turn left onto Old Airport Road. Drive one block, cross over Spanish Valley Drive and you are there!
