About Us

The Kansas City Zombie Walk for Hunger is going into its 6th year and has gathered significant amounts of food for people living in the Kansas City Metropolitan Community who suffer from hunger or homelessness. There are 2 walks per year to participate in. Historically, the Spring Walk is held in the Crossroads Art District on the first Friday in June being geared towards adult participants. The October Zombie Walk for Hunger is held annually at the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City geared towards all ages and focusing on the children to raise awareness of what is like to have fun and contribute to populations in their own community. The Kansas City Zombie Walk for Hunger is a not for profit organization that does not make money. All prizes are donated from individuals who have spent their time, money and efforts to bring a little extra pizzazz to the end of the walk. In order to participate in the walks the cost is 5 non perishable food items per person. All food collected at our fall walk will be given to the Guardian Angels here in Midtown. This group will give you all the information you need for all upcoming zombie walks and events that the horde will participate in throughout the year.
