Harvest Tyme Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

FAMILY CORN MAZE - Harvest Tyme is excited to offer the largest family corn maze in South Lake County. This year’s patriotic family maze spans over 3 acres and pays tribute to the red, white, and blue. As you wind through the stars and stripes of our nation’s flag, be sure and remember all of the men and women of our armed forces that have made sacrifices for your freedom and continue to serve and protect the United States of America. Included in the maze is a lookout bridge that allows our maze goers the opportunity to get an eagle-eye view of the whole maze with great picture opportunities. If you have never ventured into a corn maze, don’t be afraid that you won’t find your way out! We have games that you can play to assist in finding your way out and we have a texting program to give you clues! If all else fails we have our “corn patrol” to guide you to the exit. Help is never far away; staff members are stationed inside the corn maze to offer helpful hints to lost and circling visitors. It is sure to be an amazing challenge for “kids” ages 2 to 92.
KIDDIE CORN MAZE - Harvest Tyme offers a petite maze for our younger guests. This maze shares the same entrance location as our family maze but winds though the stars of the flags. Parents are welcome to travel with their children but will need to purchase their own ticket or wristband.
NEW FOR 2013 SEASON – FLASHLIGHT MAZE -
Friday and Saturday | October 11th and 12th | 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Explore our 3 acre corn maze under the moonlight. Guests will venture their way through our family and kiddie corn mazes using only the light from their flashlight and the stars twinkling above. Please note that at Harvest Tyme Pumpkin Patch we are about family fun and building lasting memories. This is not a scary or haunted experience but rather an opportunity to get your family and friends together for some memorable fun. It will be dark so every member of your party is required to have their own flashlight therefore, be sure to BYOF (bring your own flashlight). Last admission into the maze will be at 8:30 p.m.
After completing the maze, gather everyone up around our camp fire for some additional autumn fun. Warm yourself by the camp fire with warm apple cider and fresh apple cinnamon and pumpkin spice donuts from our concession stand. Private campfires are also available for rent (2 hours – $35).
PUMPKINS - Whether you take a tractor ride to the field or choose from our already picked pumpkins, rest assured there will be a great assortment of pumpkins available.
HAYRIDES - Take a ride on our custom hay wagons complete with stairs and handrails, pulled by one of our International Farmall tractors; it is sure to be a comfortable ride with lasting memories.
CORN MAZE - Get lost (not literally) in our 3 acre family corn maze! Also, enjoy a more petite maze for the kiddies. (Additional cost)
CORN STALKS, HAY BALES, AND MUMS - What would fall be without corn and hay bales to decorate the house? Our mums add a great burst of color to your autumn decorations.
ADDITIONAL FALL DECOR - Indian corn, gourds and mini pumpkins will add that special fall touch to every corner of your home.
CHICKVILLE - See the baby chicks that have recently hatched from their eggs. What would a farm be without baby chicks?
FARMVILLE PLAYLAND - Just the place where a kid can be a kid! The latest addition to our play area is our animal tire swings made from recycled tires! Also inside are “Grandpa John’s Service Station” to “fill up” the pedal tractors and our handcrafted “crooked little farmhouse”…it’s odd and it’s quirky…and it’s just the right size for the little ones. While you relax and enjoy the country air (and munch on some delicious kettle corn or roasted nuts), the kids can swing, slide and play in their special area.
KIDDIE PEDAL TRACTORS - Warm up your legs kids! Our kiddie pedal tractors will give you a taste of the farm life.
RUBBER DUCK RACES - Be the first to get your rubber duck to the end; just make sure your arm is up to it as it takes lots of pumping with an old fashioned hand pump to float your “ducky” to the finish line.
CORN SANDBOX - If you thought playing in your regular sandbox was fun, wait till you visit our corn sandbox.
CHECKERS - Sit in the rocking chairs, play checkers and enjoy the country air…it doesn't get much better than this! Bring your best opponent for a fun filled challenge.
PHOTO CUTOUTS - Don’t forget your camera! Located throughout the farm are photo opportunities with our hand painted photo cutouts.
GIANT ROCKING CHAIR - Speaking of great photo opportunities, our giant, over-sized rocking chair will make an awesome family photo for holiday cards or Facebook profile pictures!
SNACK SHOP - Our “Little Red Barn” has the snacks to satisfy your cravings whether it be for a hot dog and chips or nachos and pretzels…or if your thirst has got you parched we have an assortment of hot and cold drinks to make your taste buds happy.
SWEET SHOP - We’re making donuts fresh daily…apple cinnamon or pumpkin spice…pick your favorite or mix them up! Are you a funnel cake addict? We can take care of that! With everything from plain to our special caramel apple funnel cake topped with cinnamon apples, whipped cream and drizzled with caramel. It’s pure fall delight!
GRANDMA MILDRED’S KETTLE CORN - Grab a bag (or two or three) of our freshly popped kettle corn…it’s the best around!
FUN SLIDE - This is no playground slide! Fun can be had by all ages with a slide down our three lane sixty-five foot long slide. Just grab a mat and hold on to your hat as every trip down is sure to be an exciting experience. (Additional cost)
BOUNCE HOUSES - Jump around in our bounce houses! We have one for our “big kids” and a smaller one for our toddlers to enjoy without being scared of those “big kids”. (Additional cost)
RING TOSS - Test your agility and patience with this game! Keep a steady hand to ensure you are able to catch the ring on the hook.
PUMPKIN TETHER BALL - This is not your average playground game, but will sure intrigue kids of all ages.
FROG BOG GAME - Try your hand at flipping a rubber frog onto one of the floating and rotating lily pads. If you can successfully complete the task, a prize will be waiting to honor your accomplishment. (Additional cost)
COW MILKING GAME - Get your milking partner ready! Race your challenger to see who can get the most milk in their pail after two minutes. In the end, everyone is a winner and everyone gets a prize. (Additional cost)
DUCK POND - Do you feel lucky? Kids of all ages will enjoy scoping out the swimming ducks and trying to pick a lucky duck. The luck of the duck will determine your special prize. (Additional cost)
MONKEYS IN A BARREL - Spin yourself around in the barrels while we spin you in a circle. We recommend NOT going in the corn maze immediately after for obviously dizzying reasons. (Additional cost)
BANANA SQUADRON - After spinning in the monkey barrels, take an aerial cruise around and around in our yellow bananas that are very a-peal-ing to the kids! (Additional cost)
HUFF-N-PUFF - The kids will be in bed early tonight after a few laps on the self-propelled cars. Let them burn some energy pumping the handles and moving around the track. This ride operates on kid power! (Additional cost)
HARVEST TYME EXPRESS - Choo Choo! All aboard! Hop on the train and enjoy the ride in our new section of the patch. Don’t miss the train! (Additional cost)
GEM MINING VILLAGE - Take a step back to the old Wild West and try your hand at mining. Each miner will receive a bag of mining rough that they will pan to find the hidden gems. Each bag of mining rough includes an identification chart to help each miner identify their findings. (Additional cost)
