Alexandria Zombie Walk

We are a group of people who not only enjoy zombie flicks and costumes, but we also have a common goal which is to unite Central Louisiana in downtown Alexandria for one of the most fun and silly Halloween events ever to reach the area - Zombie Walk!
The 1st Zombie Walk of Alexandria was an improv event in 2009, promoted purely with MySpace and FaceBook. Almost kept as a secret, over 120 zombies united in downtown Alexandria. Finnegan's Wake helped feed the horde by supplying burgers and sodas after the walk ended.
In 2010, the Zombie Walk quickly grew to nearly 1000 people, and was funded by businesses such as Tamp & Grind Coffee, Finnegan's Wake, The Dymka Shop, TJ Shuflin Photography, djt Photography, and Opus Broadcasting...as well as a few personal donations and fund-raising.
In 2011, we want to exceed all expectations of the community by attracting thousands of people from across Louisiana and the South to downtown Alexandria to take part in the Annual Zombie Walk of Alexandria.
