About Us

Come join us for our annual A.V.F.D. Haunted Hay Ride. We host our Hay Ride at the Jenny Wiley State Park Campground at Dewey Lake in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. It's a 15 minute ride up "S P O O K Y H O L LO W" at the campground. You will see zombies, ghosts, ghouls and many other things beyond your imagination! Our hay ride isn't recommended for children under the age of 6, but other activities are available for them.
Our slogan:
"If you have the courage, and you want a good scare, come ride our hayride, that's a triple dog DARE!" ©
All proceeds go to our department charity, Operation North Pole.

Ticket Information

The Auxier Volunteer Fire Departments annual Haunted Hay Ride will begin on Friday, October 17th, Saturday 18th and then again on Friday, October 24th and Saturday 25th
Each night, our Hay Ride will begin at dark. Each night, the Hay Ride will close according to crowd size or other determining factors. - The cost for riding is $5.00 per person. "NOTE: Other area Halloween attractions cost $20.00 to $35.00 per person." The Hay Ride is held at the Jenny Wiley State Park in Floyd County Kentucky, just outside the city of Prestonsburg and Auxier.
