About Us

Uncle Shuck's Maze is a 12 acre field of corn that has approximately 4 miles of trails, twisting and turning, and sometimes, coming to a deadend!
Can you find your way through the maze?
Can you do it again?
Each year we have a new and challenging maze for you. We'll also have checkpoints in each maze-work individually or as a team to find all the checkpoints. Uncle Shuck's maze is designed to be challenging, but still allow visitors to exit at any time that they wish. An average journey will take as little as 30 minutes to complete one maze, or as long as 2 hours to complete both mazes.

Come visit us for all your church, family, scout, and civic outings.
October weekends, come challenge our Haunted Maze if you dare (all kids under 12 must be accompanied by their parent). Your group will really love our hayrides followed by an old-fashioned bonfire. Check out our special group and school programs.
All your favorites to eat, including hamburgers, chicken, hot dogs, bratwurst, popcorn, funnel cakes, caramel apples, chocolate covered frozen bananas, boiled peanuts, fresh baked goodies, candy and more. Hot and cold beverages available.

Can you do it again? Each year we have a new and challenging maze for you. For 2009 the design is an apple tree an outline of Dawson county and the sunshine. We'll also have checkpoints in each maze-work individually or as a team to find all the checkpoints. Uncle Shuck's maze is designed to be challenging, but still allow visitors to exit at any time that they wish. An average journey will take as little as 30 minutes to complete one maze, or as long as 2 hours to complete both mazes. Enjoy an old-fashioned hay ride on the shores of the historic Etowah river. The hay ride runs both during the day and evening. For our evening rides, the hay ride stops for a pause at an evening campfire. Marshmallows are provided for roasting.
