About Us

We are a working vegetable farm, with about 300 acres in cultivation! We grow carrots, onions, cabbage, corn, pumpkins, squash and gourds. Black Island Farms has been a family business for over 50 years, and we are proud of our heritage here in Davis County, Utah.
Bring your family to the farm this fall — and our family will be here to welcome you! Come hungry and enjoy farm-fresh goodies from our market! Visit our Corn Maze, Hayride, and Nightmare Acres, the Haunted Barn if you dare!

Ticket Information

The Nightmare Acres haunted house is for older children and brave adults. Since each child is different, we leave it up to parents to decide if your child would enjoy the haunted experience.
Our rumbling tractor-pulled hay wagon will pull you merrily through the Pumpkin Patch, where you might even see “The Great Pumpkin”! Hayrides operate continuously during farm hours. Each hayride ticket comes with one free pumpkin — you pick it yourself during your visit to the Pumpkin Patch. This is always popular with kids of all ages - Opening Hours
